The Department of Computer Science Virtual University of Pakistan is also launch Masters of Computer Science (MCS) degree program like Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS). The candidates who recently passed their Bachelor in Computer Science (BCS) can apply for MCS. MCS is two years study program of Virtual University of Pakistan. Which is divided in to 4 semesters in which each semester is about 18 week long. In this course to enhance the candidate’s ability or knowledge Virtual University provides their students many Assignments, Quizs and GDBs. The Examination system is consists on Mid Term and Final Term.
We have to obtain about 3.00 CGPA out of 4.00 CGPA in MS Computer science to get degree but in Master of Computer Science (MCS) program Virtual University Issue the degree of MCS in minimum 2.30 CGPA out of 4.00. The Candidate must have to clear 74 credits hours to get this degree. During the study the MCS Virtual University provide a 6 credit hours project to the students in the last year of study. To get the Degree in Master of Computer Sciences (MCS) candidate must have to clear the project correctly.
