Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) at its Lawrence office Lahore, hosted a very efficacious faculty training workshop, Continuous Professional Development workshop (CPD), in collaboration with Learning Innovation Division (LID) of Higher Education Commission (HEC). This four day workshop trained thirty faculty members from all the academic departments of VU. The well suited topics for this workshop were selected after consultation with the faculty, keeping in view the specific needs of this unique IT based university of Pakistan.
Four well known and highly experienced educationists were invited as resource persons. Three of these resource persons had been the ex-Vice Chancellors of public sector universities. The four highly expert resource persons who enlightened the faculty with their matchless expertise, include Dr. Naveed Akhtar Malik , Dr. Muhammad Nawaz, Dr. Nasir Mahmood and Dr. Syed Sadaqat Mehdi.
Faculty members were obliged to the Virtual University for offering them a remarkable learning opportunity.
