Consider you have developed your first web page on your computer. Your Web page is visible only on your computer. It would be nice if it was also visible on the computers of all your friends and relatives as well. So what steps you will take for it?

Solution:

I need to upload my Web page to a Web server that is connected to the Internet. As a result, my Web page will become accessible to anyone with a computer hooked up to the Internet. I went to the Web server upload page and uploaded my Web page to my account on the Web server. My Web page is now accessible from all of the millions of computers connected to the Internet

Developing Your Own Web Page

1. Open notepad, type in the HTML code, and save it with any filename with .html (file extension) e.g. index.html on your PC’s desktop
2. Go to a webserver like, www.abc.com.
3. Under “Select your web site style” option chooses personal and click “Get started” button.
4. A new page will appear, provide the information required in Step 2 and Step 3, but on “Set up your site” in Step 3, select option “Try using HTML-only mode.”
5. Check “I Agree terms and conditions” and click “Continue to next step” check for errors if any correct them.
6. After your login to your account you can now upload edit and delete any html based web page.
7. Delete the default index.htm page and upload your own created index.html page for the home page of your web site.
