Cultural Events:

They present their culture, their traditional events like holy, devali, rakhi, and karva chaut etc, they present their families in heavy jewelry, and that attract Pakistani woman. The ladies saw heavy jewelries wearing by Indian women in Indian dramas they made stupendous perception about India and they impress from Indian culture that in every event family gift heavy jewelry to their ladies.

Religious aspects:

On these channels the religious aspects are practiced often that has an effect on the minds of the people. i.e Arthi, visiting the shrines acting like pilgrimages.ETC

The general public in Pakistan has shifted from PTV to these TV channels mainly for entertainment purpose. Audience belonging to different ages has become regular viewers of such TV channels. Children’s are amongst the most notable in the sense that they are easily incubated with ideas and concepts that are against the cultural aspect of Pakistan.


Likewise, Women’s in Pakistan have adopted different trends in clothing that is against the cultural aspects of Pakistan.

Moreover, such TV channels have affected the family system within Pakistan. Individualism is so beautifully promoted that people are getting adhere to such patterns. The eating habits have also been changed. People prefer fast food rather then traditional foods. This is a lost to Pakistani culture. PTV and other Pakistani TV channels have to play an active role to counter such a cultural attack from these TV channels.

• It may be advised that Pakistan television should itself produce such content that public adheres to their own programs.
• They should take this as a challenge and compete with these channels so that the standard of drama, news and entertainment programs in Pakistani could be enhanced.

• Adhere to make programs based on own cultural values.
• Introduce quality and innovation in programs.
• Training academies should be launched to offer training to actors and other staff.
